Getting a Free Re-test
If your vehicle fails its initial test, your vehicle is entitled to one (1) free retest per test cycle, not per paid test. If your vehicle is eligible, you may request the free retest and any Emissions Test Center, within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days.
After your free re-test, or if the 60-day free re-test period has lapsed, your vehicle may be re-tested at any test center for an additional $20 test fee.
Vehicle emissions testing is the State's most effective way to improve air quality.
