Getting a Free Re-test

If your vehicle fails its first paid test, you can obtain a free re-test (test number 2) within 30 calendar days at the same test center which conducted the first test.

After your free re-test, or if the 30-day free re-test period has lapsed, your vehicle may be re-tested at any test center for an additional $20 test fee.
